Jason is the Managing Director of MP Group. Jason graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia.
Founded in 1987 as a fully owned subsidiary of Pico Art International, MP is a leading events marketing agency with offices in Asia and Europe. Employing more than 100 talents, MP specialises in activating communities and facilitating knowledge sharing among industries.
Jason joined MP in 2006 as Director before assuming the role of Executive Director of its Singapore office in 2012. In 2018, Jason assumed the role of Executive Director of MP Group of companies and currently has oversight of MP’s business and joint ventures globally.
In his time with MP, Jason and his team has handled many major events, including the prestigious Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2009 Leaders meetings, various European Union business programmes in Southeast Asia and the 2018 historic DPRK-USA Summit in Singapore. In 2019, the Pico Far East Board of Directors awarded Jason and his team the Award for Excellence in recognition of MP’s positive impact to Pico Group’s business growth and innovation drive.
With over 25 years of MICE industry experience, Jason is well versed in all aspects of exhibitions and conference management and contribute actively to the industry. From 2012 to 2013, he served as an Exco Member in the Singapore Association for Conventions & Exhibitions Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS) – the nation’s trade association for the community of companies in the meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions and events (MICE) industry. In 2020, MP was presented the Circle of Excellence and Innovation Award by SACEOS for demonstrating excellence through technology and innovation that made innovative impact within the MICE industry.
