Founder, Impact Value Advisory

Former Head of Green Investments, H&M Group

With more than three decades of international leadership experience spanning finance, business operations and sustainability, Ulrika Leverenz advises businesses, investors and foundations on how to accelerate the sustainability transition through stronger business cases, innovative finance and collaborative implementation.

As Founder of Impact Value Advisory, Ulrika works at the intersection of business value, capital mobilisation and system transformation, helping organisations translate sustainability ambitions into investment decisions, financing solutions and scalable implementation.

Previously, as Head of Green Investments at H&M Group, she established and led the company’s Green Investment Function, integrating sustainability into investment decision-making and developing one of the fashion industry’s first corporate green investment frameworks. Her work focused on demonstrating how climate investments can create long-term business value while supporting the company’s sustainability ambitions.

Ulrika has been one of the architects behind the Future Supplier Initiative (FSI), an innovative blended-finance model designed to accelerate supply-chain decarbonisation, and has contributed to advancing collaborative finance solutions across the fashion industry. She is also co-author of the H&M–EY white paper on decarbonisation finance.

Earlier in her career, Ulrika held senior finance and operational leadership roles, including CFO positions in mature markets such as Germany and growth markets including Australia. She has extensive experience leading business transformation, organisational development and international expansion.

A recognised speaker at international climate and finance forums, Ulrika is known for translating complex sustainability challenges into practical business strategies. Her work is centred on one fundamental question:

How do we move sustainability from being viewed as a cost to being recognised as a driver of long-term business value?
